Responsibilities

• Design and build highly scalable and performant services, data processing pipelines, data insights and highly performant web services and applications.
• This is a senior position, and the candidate is expected to provide technical leadership to the team and contribute to product vision, collaborate across web data platform teams, and contribute to engineering excellence to reduce and mitigate live sites quickly and effectively.  

Qualifications

• A Bachelors ormaster’s degree in Computer Scienceor equivalent field 
• 12+ years of industry software development experience 
• 3+ years of experience design, implement and operating distributed systems. 
• Experience in C, C++, C#, Java, Python 
• Strong skills in software design, problem solving and communication with a good foundation in Computer Science   
• Have demonstrable experience in architecting and driving implementation of large-scale services and data processing using Hadoop, Spark, Kafka or similar. 
• Knowledge of building public and private cloud-based Web solutions with backend orchestrations. experienced in capacity planning and creating consumption-based architectures. 
• Exposure to building Mobile friendly, accessible web-frontends using React JS, asp.net   
• Experience in data science, machine learning techniques and frameworks is a plus
